Melody's NPO was established after Melody was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 6. At this young age, she quickly realized how other children in similar situations, did not have the same resources that she had available to her. Through her situation and research for resources, she became more sensitive to the reality of life, living condition and needs of other children and their families. Melody decided to make a change by helping other children.
However, Melody's NPO is not only about children with diabetes, but also about children in distress with lack of food,shelter,medication and medical attention. Melody's vision and goal is to improve children's living conditions and to provide education to build them a brighter future.
Melody's NPO is an independent non-profit humanitarian organization without borders, political or religious orientation, and committed to helping children regardless of their race, gender, religion, and origin.
